Olga Vizika replaces Vincent Richard as Director of the Reservoir Engineering Division.
Olga Vizika, 44 years old, is a chemical engineer and holds a PhD in fluid mechanics in porous media from the University of Patras in Greece. After 2 years at the University of Princeton, she joined IFP in 1990 as a research engineer within the Reservoir Engineering division where her studies focused on the physical modeling of gas injection. In 1996 she was appointed "Field development processes" project leader then "Modeling of multiphase flows in complex porous media" project leader. Since December 2001, she had been head of the Petrophysics Department.
