2-4 October 2006
IFP/Rueil-Malmaison
The "New Trends in Engine Control, Simulation and Modelling" international conference has been held at IFP, in Rueil-Malmaison (near Paris, France) from 2 to 4 October 2006 under the auspices of the French Academy of Sciences.
The purpose of the conference was to highlight and discuss the recent advances in modelling and model-based control of new technologies of internal combustion engines and hybrid vehicle. The conference was focused on the control and modelling to exploit complete potential of new combustion concept, such as HCCI, new engine technologies, such as downsizing, VVA, VCR and control design for optimal energy management of hybrid vehicle.
