IFP at the cutting edge of research
The 11 research divisions, the activities of which are regularly assessed by the scientific board, group together all the scientific expertise and technical resources relating to a coherent disciplinary field. Responsible for conducting research and development work, they ensure that the highest scientific standards and the quality of results are maintained. They are also responsible for ensuring a broad balance between fundamental research and applied research, between an experimental approach and modeling and between work conducted internally and external partnerships.
Hence, through permanent contact with scientific, technical, academic and industrial environments, both nationally and internationally, IFP conducts its research work within the context of multiple and diverse partnerships. By taking part in these projects, IFP is helping to take research forward, with a view to tackling climate change.
