- 1 - gasification,
- 2 - Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process or pyrolysis,
- 3 - hydrotreating, in particular through the PNRB (National Bioenergies Research Program) of the National Research Agency (ANR - Agence Nationale de la Recherche),

production of fuels from lignocellulose by the biological route (fermentation) in particular in the context of the European NILE project (New Improvement for Lignocellulosic Ethanol).
