IFP-Lyon: promoting knowledge
IFP circulates knowledge through two channels: continuing professional training courses, and knowledge dissemination.
IFP Training
The IFP Training arm in Lyon-Solaize caters to the regional energy industry’s staff-training needs. It runs a combined total of 700 full days of training a year in a variety of fields encompassing:
- refining,
- petrochemicals,
- chemicals,
- engineering,
- engines.
In total, IFP Training provides courses for more than 10,000 professionals from 80 countries every year.
IFP-Lyon, a centre for scientific, technical and economic expertise and information for and about transport energy
IFP-Lyon’s information center circulates available economic intelligence through a variety of products and services.
This center shares its document base with France’s national library. It also houses IFP’s refining and petrochemical document holdings, which include more than 15,000 books and 530 scientific and technical publication collections.
