Apprenticeship contracts with IFP School

In liaison with IFP School, every year a dozen apprentice engineers from world-class graduate schools and universities receive training.

This training is combined with a real professional experience in IFP’s various areas of expertise:

  • exploration-production,
  • petroleum engineering and project development,
  • refining and petrochemicals,
  • engines and fuels,
  • economic studies.

The list of internship agreements proposed by IFP School and application guidelines are available on line as of January every year (select "Alternance" [sandwich course] in the "Type d'offre" [type of course] menu).

Other IFP agreements (vocational training or internship)

In addition, around fifteen internship and vocational training agreements are offered each year for training courses at levels ranging from vocational high school diplomas/technical school certificates/vocational training certificates to a maximum of 2-3 years’ higher education (chemistry, instrument measurements, IT, personal assistant training, supplier, logistics, accounting, human resources, industrial production management, etc.).

In this context, IFP is convinced that diversity is an asset and a source of social cohesion. This is why it has applied a proactive policy to help the insertion of disabled workers and underprivileged young people in the workplace for the last few years.

The list of internship agreements proposed by IFP and application guidelines are (select "Alternance" [sandwich course] in the "Type d'offre" [type of course] menu) available on line at the following address as of April every year.

Individual support is available for each of these profiles. Young people all have a tutor or supervisor who is there to train, manage and assess them throughout their sandwich course in order to help them to lay the foundations for their professional career.
