The Demeter investment capital fund

Demeter is the leading European fund specializing in the eco-industries (water, air, and waste treatment, depollution of sites, etc.), energy, and risk prevention (industrial, natural, medical, and food risks).

Founded in 2005 on the initiative of the Caisse des Dépôts (CDC Entreprise), IFP, and the world leader in environmental services, Veolia Environnement, it owned, as of 31 March 2007, 10 holdings, in the following companies: VIB (Ventilation Industrielle de Bretagne), Green gas, Solaire Direct, 3S, IES Synergy, Aerowatt, Vergnet, Paprec, Artesys, and Lacaze.
 

The 3E (Emertec-Énergie-Environnement) seed money fund

The 3E fund finances innovative young companies whose work helps reduce the impact of human activities on the environment and/or ensure lasting and reliable access to inexpensive energy.

Founded in 2003 with the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), the Natexis bank, and the CEA, this fund has an endowment of 15.5 million euros. It has already invested amounts ranging from 0.2 to 1.3 million euros in eight companies. About 200 dossiers have been examined, a significant share of them with IFP's support.
