"The Gas Industry: Current & Future" took place at IFP headquarters from 17 to 19 June 2008.

Gas production appears as a key component of the global energy mix. But bringing the gas to the consumers requires to address and solve a number of issues covering among others exploration, production, processing as well as transport. The goal of this seminar was accordingly a consistent and comprehensive review of the main challenges and the technical solutions that can be implemented to meet them.

The seminar lasted three days, combining presentations of frontier technologies and field cases.

Gathering company representatives from the Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, IFP researchers and other major stakeholders for this three-day seminar helped design the best possible roadmap for securing a brilliant future for the gas industry.
