Thermodynamics 2007

Thermodynamics 2007 was the 20th meeting in a series of thermodynamics conferences founded in the 1960s by John Rowlinson and Max McGlashan. It has been held for the second time outside of the UK at IFP's headquarters in Rueil-Malmaison (France).

Thermodynamics was jointly organised with the Royal Society of Chemistry, Imperial College, CEA, CNRS, ENSCP, ENSTA, Universities of Paris XI and Paris XIII. It welcome 240 participants from 29 different countries.

The conference featured the 2007 Lennard Jones Lecture and Prize awarded by the Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry. In addition, the Christopher Wormald Prize has been awarded to two research students: T. Lafitte (Univ. de Pau, France) and E. E. Santiso (North Carolina State Univ. USA).
