Rendez-vous Carnot / R&D Network 2008

In its capacity as Institut Carnot IFP-Moteurs, IFP's Powertrain business unit took part in the "Carnot / R&D Network Event", which was held on March 19 and 20, 2008 at the Palais des Congrès in Versailles. This event represented the first research exhibition dedicated to companies.

The primary goal of this event was to organize a platform for exchange between industrial players and Carnot Institutes, in partnership with the Yvelines Regional Council and ANRT (the French National Association of the Technical Research). This platform gave Carnot Institutes an opportunity to present their products and services and meet industry's R&D requirements. It paved the way for business meetings arranged during the event. Prior contact were made between requesting industrial players and institutes in order to meet their needs.

The two-day event was also an opportunity for Carnot Institutes to present their activity from their own stands.
In addition, lectures and round tables were organized and SMEs/SMIs were able to obtain specific information relating to the various support schemes that exist for their research activity.
