GOwSP is a closed-loop facility operating with gas, crude oil and water, dedicated to

• R&D studies: crude oil separation behavior in vertical and horizontal testing separators

• testing of equipment: internal separator equipment, O/W and W/O monitors, pre-coalescer devices.

Operating conditions

- Up to 55 bars and 80°C
- Flow rates: Gas 1000 Nm³/h – Oil 15 m³/h – Water 15 m³/h

Instrumentation - Up to 50 measurement points in real time

• On each flow line, upstream of the separators: T°C and P transducers, mass flowmeters, oil viscometer and gammameter, flow sampling devices
   
• On the multiphase flow line at the inlet to the separators: P transducer, viscometer, flow sampling device
   
• Inside the separators: T°C and P transducers, multiple-level sampling device, 2 inter-phase gauges, oil level sampling device
   
• On each flow line, downstream of the separators: mass flowmeters, oil gammameter, flow sampling devices
