Activities and markets

The 3 E fund was set up to finance the development of companies whose innovations help to reduce the impact of human activities on the environment and/or ensure lasting and reliable access to inexpensive energy.
 
The fund, managed by Emertec Gestion, acquires minority participations in start-ups, mostly French, with high growth potential.
 

Highlights of 2007

Two new investments were made by the fund in 2007. The first was in S’Tile, a company originating from the CNRS having developed an innovative process for the development of polycrystalline silicon plates for the solar panel market. The second was in Skywater, a company that has developed an innovative range of products in the field of rainwater recovery for industry and local authorities.
