Within "Les Rencontres scientifiques", IFP organizes with TNO an international conference "Advances in Hybrid Powertrains", on 25 and 26 november 2008 at Rueil-Malmaison (near Paris).
This conference presents the development of hybrid technology which combines the advantages of purely electric vehicles – in particular zero local emissions – with the advantages of engine-based vehicles, namely high energy and power density.
This international conference, therefore designed to be a scientific and technical event, gathering together players from the worlds of academic research, applied research and industry addresses the following main topics :
