Activities and markets

D2T, founded in 1989, is a company specializing in studies and tests on powertrains. It also develops test bench products, which are distributed internationally either through its German, American, Chinese, and Korean subsidiaries or by direct export sales in Europe, Asia, and South America.
D2T pursues an active policy of development and permanent upgrading of its leading products: Morphée test bench management software and the Osiris combustion analysis system.
 

Highlights of 2009

Led by a new management team, D2T managed to contain the effects of the particularly difficult economic conditions prevailing in the automobile sector. Following several years of growth, the company's turnover fell back only slightly compared with 2008. This resistance can be explained by the diversification of its technical fields and the development of high added value activities, such as powertrain calibration. This activity, based mostly on Cesame's site in Rouen, continued to reflect its customer's expectations. D2T also maintained its investment in a Euro 5/Euro 6 roller bench that will reinforce its position in the sector. The other significant area of development relates to Morphée 2 test bench automation software applications. Within the frame- work of the collaborative contract with IFP Energies nouvelles, the Morphée 2 application was developed on a multi-core processor to increase the software's real-time simulation capacities. The Simudyn 2 test bench simulation application has been successfully launched and installed with several customers.
