The original business of Prosernat is to design and supply equipment for the field treatment of gas and oil, together with modular refining units.
 
In order to cover the whole range of field gas treatment, Prosernat proposes a full line of processes for the phase separation, dehydration, and sweetening of gas, LNG recovery, and sulfur removal. Prosernat accordingly supplies the most advanced technologies in these fields, in particular IFP Energies nouvelles's gas treatment processes, Total's amine scrubbing processes (AdvAmine^TM ), and IFP Energies nouvelles and Total's sulfur removal technologies (AdvaSulf^TM ).
 

Highlights of 2009

The crisis in the gas treatment market, which began in 2008 and reached an unprecedented scale in 2009, did not affect Prosernat. Its turnover and net profits were highly satisfactory and in line with forecasts. Against the backdrop of a depressed market and its potential impact on the turnover of companies in the sector in 2010, Prosernat secured two contracts that should enable it to broaden its market coverage. The first contract marks its entry into Russia: Prosernat will be building a sweetening unit and a desulfurization unit for the Kharyaga field operated by Total. The design of these units is based on technologies that are being constantly fine-tuned. The second contract firmly establishes Prosernat in South-East Asia, its KPN Gas Technology having enjoyed a promising start there.
